I'll stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
