In a unexpected crossover event that defies usual forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Disclosed
According to the formal release, "A mysterious meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where rumors of banned ceremonies and fearsome changes reverberate through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret cult.
The mission centers on "peculiar trials and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Changes
The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the mission will obtain an unique katana in addition to multiple items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
